Registration & Tickets
How do I register and how do I get my ticket?
Registration can be done online through our ticketing page. After purchasing your ticket:
- A digital ticket will be sent to your email
- You can bring it along digitally or print it out
- Present it at registration on the day of the event
Can I cancel my participation and get a refund?
Yes! You can cancel your participation up to one week before the event and receive a refund, minus a small handling fee.
Please note: Tickets are limited and very popular, so if you can’t attend, please cancel early so others can join!
Can I share my ticket with a colleague?
Yes, but with conditions:
- It’s possible if the badge is returned on the evening of the first day
- Exchanges within one day are not possible
- Contact us in advance to arrange the transfer
Speaking at DevOpsDays
I would like to speak at DevOpsDays. How do I apply?
We’d love to hear from you! Here’s how:
Wait for the Call for Papers (CFP) announcement
- Distributed via social media, website, and our network
- Open to anyone, regardless of experience level
Submit your proposal during the CFP period
- Talks: 30-45 minute presentations
- Ignites: 5-minute lightning talks
- Workshops: 2+ hour hands-on sessions
Selection process
- After the CFP closes, our team reviews all submissions
- Selected speakers are notified and the program is published
Outside of CFP? Feel free to contact the organizers if you’re interested in speaking at a future event.
What is an Ignite Talk?
An Ignite talk is a unique presentation format:
- 5 minutes total duration
- 20 slides that auto-advance every 15 seconds
- Fast-paced and engaging
- Perfect for sharing compelling ideas, insights, or stories

Venue & Logistics
Is parking validated at the venue?
The Alte Kaserne in Winterthur is very well accessible by public transport, which we strongly recommend for sustainability reasons.
Parking: Not validated by the venue. We encourage you to:
- Use public transport (train, tram, bus)
- Cycle to the venue
- Carpool if you must drive
How do I get to the venue?
The Alte Kaserne is easily accessible:
- By train: Winterthur is well-connected to Zurich and other Swiss cities
- By tram/bus: Multiple lines stop near the venue
- Walking: 10-15 minutes from Winterthur main station
